My name is Maggie and I am a cute little fuzzy-faced girl who was picked up as a stray and taken to a pound.  I am really glad the rescue people came to get me because I like being inside and eating every day. I love people and I especially love to stand up on my hind legs, put my front legs on your legs while you are sitting down and give you lots of great fuzzy Terrier kisses!  They guess that I am about a year old.  I just got here but my foster Mom wanted me to tell you that I haven't had any accidents in the house - not one! What I really want is to be a lap dog.  I slept in Richard's lap all the way home from the shelter and it's the first time in a while I have been able to let my guard down.  I am a great girl!  Please come and see me at Lexington Walmart on July 28th, Lexington Pet World on August 4th, Tractor Supply Co. on August 18th, and the Community Festival in Lexington on August 25th. I probably will be adopted before all those events though, so come meet me while you can!

**YOU CAN FILL OUT AN APPLICATION FOR MAGGIE AT: http://www.rockbridgedogrescue.org/Adoption-Application.html.  Our application process is pretty easy.  All other pets in you home should be spayed and neutered and must be up to date on vaccinations and other medical care.  We highly recommend some kind of fencing for your dog's safety.  We will check your vet reference and if everything looks good at that point we will bring her to your house for a visit to see how she gets along with your family, other pets, etc...  RDR will not adopt Maggie to a home where she will live or sleep outside any time of the year, or will be used as a hunting dog, a guard dog, or for any purpose other than as a family pet and companion. Maggie's adoption fee is $125, to help offset some of the expenses of caring for her and our other great dogs.  Thank you for supporting animal rescue!
