Hi everyone - Rufus here! My foster Mom calls me Rufus Xavier Sarsparilla.  I think she's been watching Schoolhouse Rock again! I am a VERY nice Plott mix boy who was found wandering in the cold.  I had very sore feet and they think it was from being outside in the wet and cold for too long.  The nice ladies at the shelter really liked me, but my time was running out so another nice lady came to get me and took me home.  My feet are just fine now!  You can go ahead and put in an application for me at: http://www.rockbridgedogrescue.org/Adoption-Application.html .  My adoption fee is $125 to help pay for some of my vet bills I had for my feet!  I am neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots and get along great with other dogs and everyone I meet.
